More than one way to kill a unicorn

Title: More Than One Way to Kill a Unicorn.
Author: [livejournal.com profile] tarnera
Appearing in this work: Toushi (Ichigo from Bleach) and Moon (Sanzo from Saiyuki)
Spoilers/Timeline: None
Word Count: 346
Summary: Moon and Toushi are fed up with their respective herds of unicorns, and do something about it. PG-13 for language.
Disclaimer/Thanks: I own nothing, save my crazy theories.
Author's Note: This is based on an event that happened in [livejournal.com profile] edensphere; all the virgins had unicorns following them around. Yeah… this isn't related to Doctor Who at all, but w/e XD
Also, this is all Alicia's fault. B|

"Sh-shut up, bastard!" Toushi's voice rang out clearly though the Park. Though there was no one around to hear him, the orange-haired boy lowered his voice a little before continuing. "You're crazy, I'm not doin' it."

The blonde man he was yelling at looked slightly annoyed, as if that hadn't been the response he was expecting. "You have to be tired of them too." Moon jerked a thumb over his shoulder to show what he meant—a herd of five unicorns, including a baby unicorn, were placidly standing behind him, occasionally cropping at the grass. Toushi's own herd of seven were a short distance away, standing in a clump together.

"Well, yeah. But it doesn't mean I'm willing to do anything to get rid of 'em!" Toushi's voice was tinged with a hint of panic.

"I didn't say that. I said 'want to get rid of these damn unicorns?'" Moon sounded like his patience was rapidly running out.

"But there's only one way to do that," Toushi pointed out. "And… you're a guy. And I'm a guy. I don't even know you, you know? It's just… no. No, man, HELL no."

Moon scowled. "You don't even know what you're turning down. There's a lot more than one way to get rid of a unicorn, kid."

Toushi opened his mouth to protest (or maybe just babble) more, but Moon was already walking away—followed by his herd, of course. "If you really want to get rid of them, meet me here tonight. Make sure you come alone… as alone as you can, anyway."

*********

The next day, everyone who knew of Toushi's unicorn 'problem' was shocked to see he was wandering around completely unicorn free. Toushi never quite gave anyone a straight answer as to how he lost his herd, but he would always be grateful to Moon for giving him that very special magazine. If all he had to do to repel the unicorns was sneak away to read the magazine in private every hour or so, it was a very small price to pay indeed.
