Cross-Stitch Update

I was going through my stash and realized that I had a couple of projects I haven't touched in a long time.

I've been sadly neglecting my Freddie, so here's the last progress picture I took.

And then where I am today...

FtL WIP III
A little progress.

Then, there's the tree skirt that I actually started before Christmas of 2006, so it's definitly a UFO at this point. Here's the last picture I took. Actually, I think it's the only picture I've taken of this one...anyway.

Here's where I am in it now:

STS WIP II
A closer look at the santa I'm actually working on right now.

And a close view of the slightly creepy no-eyes face.

Wow, I feel like I've been posting too much lately...ah well.

Argh, floating cat butt!

Cross stitching looks like a lot more work than knitting, lol.

I used to knit...I wasn't very good, sadly, haha.

It's a lot harder to watch stuff while you cross stitch. I keep on missing bits of action because I'm trying to figure out where exactly the dark red should be placed, lol!

Lol, yeah, I can't watch stuff while knitting without screwing up either. I like to listen to music or audios instead.

Yay for UFOs! Frederick is a great design, and you're brave to stitch on black. I've never had the courage...

Creepy faceless santa reminds me of the plastic dudes from Dcotor Who.

Omg, he does!! I have never noticed this before, haha.

It's much easier to stitch on black if you have something white underneath the cloth. But then there's the black on black stitching...T.T
It's so much worse than white on white...
